A disappearing

Boldness

The shape of her mouth

Gestures and inevitability

Inventions

Before words come in

A difficult connection

With not the right flag to wave

Dialogue lost in machination, in what never occurred

All possibility gone that way

Where your eyes betray

What your blood could not say

In that solution

A mix of enmity and joy

Desiring what desires the self

An opaque scenario

Cannot come at it

Those combinations are just not me

No more then of what was to be

Anything taking the place of

As the tide slips downstream

Into a waiting storm

No more hurt in that

Thunder no longer makes my bones crack

And rain just leaves my eyes dry

Formless

As eagles fly

Witness to an end

In this going away
