Wednesday near Redfern
sense and thought
bitumen after rain
a clearing grey sky
shimmering leaves
cashmere soft
her smile
rolling waves
dark chocolate and hot coffee
silk on my skin
her flesh
orange and dusky pink, tan and brown
marmalade on my lip
a last crust of bread
long shadows
warming sun
her eyes
jumping puddles
running it off
eating it up
lolling about
laughing
overcoats and jumpers, curled up in scarves
winter fires
being naked
walks on the sand, grit between toes
summer heat spring beginning fall colour
intensity and giving, feeling sharing
depth and contexts
pictures that linger forever in the memory
her fur
covering her rosebud where my mouth kisses her heart
all that
you
Roses from my garden
